Guadelupe Peak & New Mexico

In November, the Austin crew met up in El Paso and climbed the tallest peak in Texas. We also went to the Organ Mountains and White Sands National Park.

Day 1: Organ mountains, NM
Day 1: Alamogordo, NM. Nick has an unhealthy obsession with Pistachio Land. After having the ice cream I kind of get it though.
Day 1: White Sands National Park was open despite the gov’t shutdown. There were a lot of people there.
Day 2: Hike up Guadelupe Peak
El Capitan. From the road at base level, you wouldn’t guess that it looks like this from above.
Despite his unwavering pistachio psychoses, Nick is the kind of friend everyone should have. He hates doing stuff like this but goes along with it anyway.
This marker is basically an ad for American Airlines. I’m not even kidding… The peak was an early waypoint for pilots, point proven in next pic.
You were here:::El Capitan and Guadelupe Peak see in the first prominence, middle-middle.
The older I get the more I believe in the healing power of cool stuff, like this uhhhh sick geode or whatever at The Crystal Gallery in El Paso. It cures you.
